One lap of the Kinder circuit and my rear wheel rim looks like it's done a whole UCI DH world cup season!
Anyone had similar experiences?

My reserves have got marks all over them and they're still fine after a year 🙂
Yep, every carbon rim I've run looks like a mess in a short while.
Usually followed fairly quickly by a crack, so never have to put up with it for too long 😆
Helitape them
If they're really bad, I fill with Araldite a sand back.
I use a product called Kingud Protect - somehow masks the marks on my carbon rims really well. Works well on the frame too.
Mine look like they've been chewed on by a big dog but it's just cosmetic, I quite like it 🙂
Mine are just battle scars, just like the rest of my body
My runs wear the scars with pride, as does the rest if my bike. The scars on my body are more likely a reminder of shameful stupidity.
Mine where fine until I went down dollywagon pike and back into glenridding
