Wondering about clearance to frame, boost chain ring by the way...

From the AB site and their measurements I think it should be ok but would like to check.

Anyone? 🙂

I have a Jeffsy 29er that came with the Eagle drivetrain and I've just gone from a 34T to a 32T 3mm offset (boost) with no issues.  Does that answer your question?  (If not I think I don't know what you mean 🙂 )

I think you did understand mate! Thanks.

Is your frame the carbon one as that has less clearance than the alloy?

Thanks again. 👍

The 2017 Jeffsy 29s came with boost adjusted spindle for the RF cranks, so they need a non-boost chainring. I've run a 32t and a 30t without clearance issues.

Cheers mate.

I'm running a non boost crank as i bought the frame second-hand. However, allowing that I will just get a boost chain ring then I should be ok. Is yours an oval though, as that is nearer a 34 at max width?

Yep, both were oval. No clearance problems, I’d say it could run a 34t without issue.

Mine's carbon.  Came as stock with 3mm boost offset 34T round chainring and the Eagle X01 cranks.  Hope that helps.
