Will the GT85 harm the carbon or weaken it?

a better bet would be hairspray - gt85 is lubricant ๐Ÿ˜‰

Spit - honestly the best thing.

Amazing how well it sticks the grips on once it dries!

Spraymount is great for securing grips.

Always used GT85 in the past - a bike mechanic told me it's an old trick?

Another vote for hairspray - not melted my bars yet!

I squirt in a bit of GT85 to get them off.

with hair spray you have to wait for it to dry but GT85 if your not quick will stick your grip before it's on fully so
GT85 - Remove
GT85 - Fit
Hairspray - Hair
