Any thoughts? Trying to choose between (waiting for) this , the Giant XTC 29er 2011 and the Trek/GF Paragon 2011 which are all around the same money. I know that the Canyon's an unknown, but has anyone had any issues with the Giant or GF?

Look great for the money, really good spec.
I like the 142 thru axle rear, 15mm axle forks and taper headset.
A mate has a carbon road canyon, he really likes it and it looks good.
He has a Pinarello as well and prefers the Canyon.

I have a Canyon Roadbike so wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as a company but my LBS has a Demo 19" Paragon and it's also a nice looking bike and pretty well specced.

Thats lovely! Why is it sooo cheap though?

Dunno, the frame looks ok. Just good vfm?
My friend has an X-Calibre that I've ridden a few times, it's ok and the Paragon's definitely nicer.
I think that I'm gonna wait for the Canyon though, it is lovely and I've only ever heard good things about their bikes.

Considering that's a £500 fork on there just seems too good to be true for £1269!

Seen several of the GF's being ridden in the US, they seemed to handle well and were talked of very highly. Not sure that helps really?

I have the Giant and have for about 1000 miles now, no issues at all with it... only minor grip was needing higher rise bars to be comfy.

Other than that i love it 🙂
