[#8288014]

Looking for a 20" bike for our daughter to get something more suitable to practice on than her weird princess bike bit of pig iron.

Went to a decent local bike shop that had some kids bikes in it, Haro something or others, might as well have been lugging bags of concrete around.

I've been offered second hand a Cannondale Hooligan 1. Everything sensible tells me this is a bad plan for her first proper bike, but the "that is ****ing cool for a first bike" head is on, and I can feel the draw.

So tell me it is a bad idea. I've tried googling the frame dimensions of an Isla Bein 20, but can't find them, to see if they are similar in reach, stand over etc.

It's a full size adult bike, if they're trying to sell you it as a kids bike then walk away cos they're just wanting a sale.

^ That is what I thought, then I couldn't find any dimensions to compare it to.

Right back to hunting then, and not buying it for myself.

They are awesome though, designed as a fun commuter that can wheelie. Everytime I see one I want one.......But I'm sure you wouldn't like it ๐Ÿ˜€

despite the small wheels it is for an adult, it would be awful as a kids bike, look at a frog 52/55 instead.

I'd be interested in buying that. Been after one for a while.
Got some details?
