I bought a Cannondale Trail SL 29er SS last November

I`ve regreased the headset a few times and as it seems very poorly sealed and, so Im keen to either change the bearings, or if needs be the whole headset.
Specs list it as a Tange Custom 1.5" - it look to have an external lower cup, but integrated/semi integrated upper bearings. I can't work out what bearings, or 3rd party headset are compatible ? The few local cannondale dealers I ran didn't really give a definitive answer, and so I turn to the Singletrack hive for advice...
Can any fellow owners point me in the right direction ?

It says its out of stock, but I would suggest giving the guys at Qwerty cycles a call - the've always answered all of my questions, and they may know when its coming back in.
OK, thanks Kitz_Chris - I`ve dropped them a mail, hopefully they can sort me out with some bearings rather than replacing the whole headset
