Hi guys

Want to buy one of these for niece but concerned, despite only just being 8, she's already well up the size range of them so will outgrow soon. She's 134cm high and 61cm inseam. Cujo states 121-144 and 58-67, matts 129-137.

Has anyone got experience of what's too big for these bikes?

Happy to hear any other comments on them too, esp the Merida as not much on here about that. Or rigid 24+ alternatives for £500 max. Unfortunately the vitus 24+ is sold out and given their issues might not be back.

Just bought one for my lad, lovely bike except the orange is more peach.

Slightly over budget but free delivery

cujo's fits younger age riders as they have a very low bottom bracket - this is good (frog is the opposite) means for kids and especially in 24" wheel bikes means getting the balance of saddle height for both pedalling comfort and foot on the ground easier.
you can see this just by comparing the angle of the chainstays between the bikes (also cannondale less high at front due to more sensible length fork)

Cannondale (seen these in says for around £400, allows for a check hydraulic brake upgrade):

if it helps my daughter is 7 and 135cm and was fine on a Whyte 303 (24" but not plus) since 130cm. My nephews are on Cujo and they are fab.

also the Cujo is now replaced by:

Thanks guys. Think will just bite the bullet and accept that may need a bigger bike sooner than ideal. In retrospect she should have been on one of these for a year or more and would then have got more use.

Daughter has the merida. She's 9 and will be getting a new 26" bike for Xmas as the seat post has been an inch or two past max for a wee while now. Its been a great bike.
