Well last Saturday it was "better than shite" so as we haven't had any rain, this week it'll be "much better than shite".

You'll be fine.

Was there today. Overall it is nice and dry with only a couple of muddy spots. All good fun

I went last Saturday and had great time, trail conditions are ok bit muddy some places but its a mountain bike so it's ment to go through mud! Honestly its worth going there especially as weather has been dry recently and there is a lot less people going at the moment so not so crowded on the trails.

cannock conditions are very good at the moment as cannock rides better when wet/damp. i was there last night and it is great at this time of year as oppose to the summer when the round pebbles become free to roll around like marbles. there is some standing water but it can be avoided.

it depends if you mean "cannock" as follow your dad and monkey bollox or "cannock" as in the whole great big chase with miles of ace single track.

the former is ok at the moment, the latter is a tad swampy with a little bit of bike eating mire and somme thrown in.

FTD was mostly dry - a few puddles in the deeper swooping berms, but a sunny crisp clear day, few people out, and a great ride. Have realised that buying more kit doesn't make me fitter, unfortunately.....

Glad you enjoyed it xcentric.
But with all due respect I will continue to buy kit in the hope of it making me fitter and draw my own conclusions ๐Ÿ˜‰

Unless you actually mean Cannock then there'll be a few short skirts on fat girls appearing at this time on a Friday night with some Citroen lightsabres continually driving round past the taxi rank. Oh how I miss Cannock on a Friday night.
