Can you identify this hope hub?

That looks like it might be a hope front hub.

I have no idea of why that 1st picture has a massive border...

Hope XC/Sport maybe?

If you remove the end caps and look at the bearing sizes it'll give more of a clue.

I think it may be a pro 2 as its a hope hoops wheelset and i think they only came along with the Pro 2...possibly

I've got a Hope Hoops front wheel with a Pro 2 Evo hub, and it says "Pro 2 Evo" on one side. So it may [i]not[/i] be one of those.

As above it is at least a pro 2 as that was the model when hope hoops started. The earliest hope hoops didn't even have it engraved on the hub iirc. Good news is the front hubs have not changed much so pro 4 adapters should fit (Inc the hope boost kit).

My immediate reaction was 'Pro2'. I had many years staring at one on one of my bikes during Sleeplesses (is that the plural ?) and Mayhems

Also going to say pro 2 as they were the version when the hoops were about.

20mm I think.  Will stick a vernier over the fork axle to make sure.  Cheers!

Might also have a spare adaptor if required?

Didn’t the Pro2 hub need an internal axle change to run thru axles?

@timbur I think that's only the rear one. 

Looks pro2 to me. I've got a nearly identical one and my pro4 adapters fit it.

I don't think it matters what hub we identify it as. Surely identity is up to the hub itself?

As others have mentioned, Oro 2 through to Pro 5 use the same adapters.

Pull the existing end caps off and you should see a 20mm ID bearings, if you do, you're golden. If the bearings are smaller, it could be a XC (very unlikely as I don't believe that was ever used for hoops) or is the end caps unscrew from reach other, it would be a BULB (again, not used for hoops as far as I know).
