Question is as per the title really. I know people brake sintered as part of the decontamination process, I was just wondering if you could do the same with resin, or if the pad material would die. Thanks!

Why would you want to?

As TJ says, why?

Just buy some new ones, not worth skimping on brakes.

Because a) I want to get it working for adequately for a ride, as I won't be able to buy any in time and b) it's my rear brake and I hope I will be able to cope with the reduced performance.

Have you contaminated them? Try sanding the surface off and rebedding them. I have baked pads with good effect when contaminated but I have also ruined them
