I want to switch the Code brakes currently on my Hardtail onto the full suss and put the Guide RE's from the suss onto the hardtail.
The full suss is internal routed. Can I just disconnect the caliper and lever and swap over leaving the hose in place or is there an issue with the caliper end being disconnected?
Guide RE's use the old code caliper so assume there isn't a difference in outer?
You just need to check that the fittings are the same. The fluid will destroy paint so just be careful about spilling it on the bike. Wash it down with dish detergent and warm water afterwards to make sure you didn't get fluid on the paintwork.
Obviously, you'll need to bleed them once you're done.
Yes will take a look on the tech docs. Assume you can just reattach the caliper end with same parts and no need for all new connectors?
