Got myself an old but very useable camper that looks a bit shabby on the outside. Can anyone recommend a body shop/paint shop that do quality work in the North West/Greater Manchester area?

I'd consider further a field for a top job!

Cheers

Paul

I'd recommend these guys in Leyland. Was in there about a month ago and they were just finishing off a split screen VW combi - looked fantastic. Really friendly and good quality in my opinion.

I dont know how cheap your van was, but have you much idea on what a decent respray is likely to cost for something the size of a van?

Have you also looked at the price of even simple stuff like re covering the cushions? Its horrific, just new foam for the cushions is hunderds..

I tided up a cheap camper and even with doing it on the cheap it works out loads, and I didnt even venture into trying to have it painted.

1k for a rubbish job and 4k for a good one would be an estimate depending on rust, and damage and type of paint you choose.

edit.. i didnt mean to make this sound negative, and its all relative, my idea of a cheap camper was £1500, so its all relative.

Enjoy your van. 🙂
