9 speed campag cassette with a sora groupset - OK or not OK?
(I know 11 speed works - this is specifically a question about 9 speed)

Shimano 9 pitch 4.35mm
Campag 9 pitch 4.55mm
so it should work, depending on how fussy you are.
Set rear mech in middle of block gear 5, set gear 1 and gear 9 with mech stops.
Gear 4 and 6 will be .2mm out
Gear 3 and 7 should be .4mm out
and gear 2 and 8 should be 0.6mm out

I inherited a bike with 10 speed veloce gears, and could never get it running just right (it was ok, but I'm a bit fussy)
Turned out to have a Shimano wheel and cassette.
I bought a miche cassette, which has campag sprockets with Shimano splines - everything worked super smooth, after that.
