It runs to/from Brocton (A34) ↔ Penkridge Bank Road.
It seems popular with road cyclists.
Possibly every third or forth use of the road sees some unit of a driver overtaking a bike just before a brow of a hill or just before a bend. It’s that frequent.
If you’re a frequent user you will know this, but if you’re a first timer or newbie, prepare for cockwomblery of an impressive magnitude.
If the attached pick is working, it should show us heading ditchward because the Mini simply HAD to pass the bike on THIS bend (the hand gesture explains and excuses all).
Also, today Birches Valley car park was full except for the cars that the “Car Park Full” sign didnt apply to.
Come the Tribulation, I’m baggsying the .50 calibre.

Had a very close pass this morning coming along Penkridge Bank towards Camp Road, decided he didn’t want to wait for a clear opportunity so came through anyway...I’d say about 2ft away being generous.
BV car park looked busy, cafe was fairly quite though.
