Thinking of taking the plunge with a DSLR, and would probably benefit from holding a few / taking some advice in person.
Can anyone recommend a decent camera shop in the Leicester / Loughborough / Notts area?

Jacobs in Leicester on London Road (A6) just past the railway station has always been pretty good, would try there first if in Leicester. There is also a Jessops and a smaller Jacobs shop on Granby Street also in Leicester.
Nottingham has a London Camera Exchange on the road up to the Lace Market (Pelham Street) and also a Jessops on Market Street. Try London Camera first if in Nottingham.
Finally John Lewis in both Nottingham and Leicester have a few you can try out.
