Sure this is an old question but...
What's the best way to thoroughly clean a camelback bladder and pipe? i've tried very dilute bleach, but can't seem to shift the last bits of gunk especially from the pipe. cheers.

For the pipe use a bit of string with knots in and pull it through.

The cheapest denture cleaning tablets from the pharmacist or supermarket, removes bacteria and leaves no after taste, very cheap too

Sterilising tabs
Get a long brush for the job of cleaning the pipe
And FREEZE when done

Ditto the freezer comment above, thoroughly rinse after every use, and freeze it until you need it next.
