Can you post pics and please and info on your spec/set up.

It'll keep me going as I wait on mine - should be being built today and with me by the end of the week! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks.

Medium frame. RockShox SID RCT3 fork, 1x10 X9 gears, Hope Hoops wheels, Hope Tech3 brakes. Hope & Thomson finishing kit. Now with a Thomson dropper post.

Rides very nicely, quick and light and surprisingly nimble.

Can I ask if all you medium frame owners can tell us your height and leg measurements please?

I'm 5'9" and a bit with 31" inside leg and seem to be on the cusp of small/medium. Again ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

I'm 5'10" and have a 32" inside leg and I'm middle to upper end of the medium frame. I did consider the large for a while but the medium feels right.

5Ft11, stumpy legs. This is Cy's Medium ex-demo I tried when I was test riding the rocket. The rocket has gone but the Solaris is a keeper.

Spec:
Rockshox Rev RCT3 running at 120mm
Stans Arch EX on Hope Evo2 shod with Mountain King 2.2s (would love some crossmax ST 29)
Crank Bros 780mm almost flat alloy bar/Thomson x4 50mm stem
Reverb/Charge Spoon
SLX for transmission and brakes. 2x10, clutch mech.

Ridden more in the winter but always puts a smile on my face either in the FoD or - as up there - on the Malvern Hills.

Large Blue Frame
Rock Shox Reba 120mm Forks
Raceface Turbine Stem, Bars, Seatpost & Cranks
Raceface 32T Narrow / Wide Chainring
Shimano XT Wheels
Shimano XT Cassette
Shimano XT Pedals
Shimano SLX Shadow + Clutch Mech
Shimano SLX Shifters
Shimano SLX Brakes & 180mm Rotors
Now running Maxxis Ardent 2.25 Exo Tubeless Tyres (Not Pictured)

Currently Saving up for a Dropper, Probably a KS Lev ๐Ÿ™‚

Also might drop the stem & bars down or switch to flat bars to lower front end.

I would say if I was building again Id consider 100mm forks for the type of riding I use it for.

Edits: im 6'1 with 34" inside leg.

I started with a 100mm reba and it was fine. But had a set of 140mm revs hanging around from another bike, dropped them to 120mm and - for me anyway - I prefer it. Bit slower steering but definitely a bit more capable in the rocky bits of the malverns. The Rev is a better fork so some of it might be that not the extra inch of travel.

Can I ask if all you medium frame owners can tell us your height and leg measurements please?

I'm 5'9'' with a 32'' inside leg and the medium is perfect for me with a 50mm stem. I sat on a small on a demo day and it felt very small so I'd definitely say go for the medium.

Mine's gone now (although I loved it). It was an orange XL, with full xx (inherited from a race bike), 240s/crest wheels, easton flat bars and finishing kit. Would have been a keeper - and as it is I had it longer than any previous bike - if I hadn't had the chance to replace it with a titanium equivalent. Hope you enjoy yours half as much.

Is the steering a bit flexy like the early Souls? Or are they beefed up due to the oversize headtube?

Just seen you can no longer get a Solaris in size XL.

Pish. Was wanting to build one up as well.

Cheers dazh - Cotic recommended I should look at a small, which just didn't sound right to me, although they sized my old Soul up perfectly.

Seems a bit weird as Paul at Cotic recommended I go for a medium! Anyway, here's a gratuitous action shot of me on mine if that helps (courtesy of salsaboy)....

@ morecashthandash and dazh - could the frame size recommendation difference be due to the type of riding you do?
Just a thought.

@ everyone else, thanks for keeping the pics and specs coming. Please keep it up.
