I'm planning a coast to coast there and back using the Hadrians way cycleway at October half term with my son.
My thoughts were not to do the full HW, but to start and finish at Bowness on Solway (or start in Tynemouth and do the reverse).
So I'd be looking for bunkhouse accomodation somewhere near Bardon Mill, for two nights, interspersed by a night in/near Tynemouth (or B on S).
Recommendations, advice etc gratefully received.

Don't know about Bunkhouses but the Bowes hotel in Bardon Mill does chapish b&B.

Tynemouth would be hotels or B&B around there. Whitley Bay is close enough for cheap hotels but Tynemouth is nicer (and Cullercoats if you can find anywhere there).
