Do the come with the plate for mounting them onto Shimano shoes or not? Some photos imply that they are included, but photos of the packaging don't have them visible 😕

The plate is in the shoe already.

yeah thanks for that. The plate is removable on (all?) Shimanos. After 10 years of neglect I need to get hold of new plates

They are called Cleat Nuts and are not supplied with cleats(normally). Try the Classifieds
