I'm looking to get one of the Canyon road bikes but can't commit to splashing out the cash until probably feb next year.
Turns out the bike won't be available until March anyway, as there appears to be a 4 month waiting list. So the question is if I order it now do you pay straight away, or do you pay when its available? And do you hand over card details upfront, or is it easy enough to cancel the order?
I paid when my bike was ready to dispatch about 5-6 weeks after I ordered it, they will check your card but the funds don't have to be there yet just when it comes to the time they charge you.
do they warn you before they take the cash?
It doesnt help your payment situation, but if it makes you feel better, the bikes are bloody awesome. I just received the Ultimate CF SLX from Mr. UPS last week, and my son got an Ultimate CF at the same time, and they really are the dogs danglies. Compared to my Boardman Team Carbon the ride is just super smooth, so comfy. You wont regret it.
