I like the idea because: it connects with what we all love, a bike is only £95, and it feels tangible (£95 buys a bike that goes to a person that helps them and makes a difference, not just in a big fund to slosh about, at least in theory).
I put it to my ride buddies (Up the Cocks!) and in a few hours we had enough pledges of a tenner each to buy a bike. A tenner each seems to work.
Anyone else want to put it to their ride buddies - a tenner each - and have a go?
