I don't think so as most scam sites have everything you need!

Read about this place on here re some well priced 2009 rebas, I think people were saying its ok, the guy trades a lot on eBay, this is however all hearsay.

I bought a set of wheels off that website last year. Delivered in a couple of days and exactly as described on the website. He does also sell on Ebay as I had also previously bought some XTR shifters of him on Ebay - again well packaged and as described.

I would use him again.

Hi there,

Nope, I am not a scam website and would like to thank all the customers who have not only purchased items from me but have also taken the time to write me a review

Yes, I do only have a mobile number on my site but this is purely to keep costs down, that way I can pass on my savings to all of you

But, if in doubt give me a call, I will always answer between 8 and 6 Weekdays and if the wife will let me, at the weekends as well 🙂

Thanks

Barry

Bought some Rebas recently, slight hiccup rectified painlessly, bargain forks, would use again. Sounds like an honest guy trying to make a living in the face of stiff competition.

They're just up the road from me, so if it all goes wrong I've got a heavy pair of bombers and a full bladder I could put to good use.....

Hi Barry. It says 40% off bottom brackets. is the price shown including that discount or should it be applied off what is shown during checkout? I need an FSA one...

Just bought a fork from the site. Thanks for the feedback.

Having said that, the first fork I bought did come with a crown race attached. The stock is OEM kit leftover from warehouse framebuilders and some have things like generic crown races still on. Nothing five minutes with a screwdriver and a mallet can't sort out though. I mean, professional crown race removal tool....

OEM? Have no problem if the crown race is left on. Like you say, easy to remove...

Quick update.

Item arrived as described. Prompt and efficient service. Very good value for money. Feel terrible for even suggesting this might be a scam now! Yes, crown race and star nut fitted to the fork.

I wouldn't worry, Barry has had some good, free publicity.

I am off to look at the site now cos I need some bits and bobs.

Could the title of the thread not be changed? When I googled Buy Bike Bits - this was the second link. Normally, I would read 'scam' and assume the worse...

SCAMMMERS! Placed two order with them in early December for deore xt freehub bodies. Got the first order, the second one never showed up. They don't respond to my repeated emails, and have no phone number. So, they are THIEVES in my book. 50$ gone down the rabbit hole. DO NOT ORDER FROM BUY BIKE BITS!

Update to previous post - after posting nasty things, I was suddenly able to get an email reply (for the first time in a month) and a refund for my missing items. I used your message board to get a refund, so thanks all! To the above poster - learn to spell - "whinge" is not a word. If anyone can flag this and my previous post for removal, I would appreciate it.

"whinge" is not a word

Is bell-end a word? You know, cos it's hyphenated, or is it two?

Google reckons it's with an 'h'. Seems either is acceptable - with an h is the original spelling.

But yes, you seem to be a bit of a bit of a dick, no wonder no one replied to your emails.
