Can anyone recommend a bunkhouse in the Lakes for a group of 8-12 people?

Wanting something around the Coniston/Ambleside/Windermere area.

Thanks in advance.

google vividevents / independent hostel

Stayed in the Keswick one and Maggs Howe in kentmere above Staveley. Weekends riding straight from the door, bit isolated but we enjoyed it.

There are a couple in Seathwaite that I have been to, and Little Langdale.

This may be of no use to you but have you checked out large cottages? If you're going away in Nov-Feb they're usually considerably cheaper than bunkhouses plus the added bonus of massively increased luxury. Might be worth a try. A group of 12 of us are going to a cottage next to Mabie for £33 each for three nights. Jacuzzi baths, huge living room with TV, games room, dining room, on a beach (bit nippy though) etc. etc.

I know this doesn't answer your question but thought it may be useful.
