One must remember when out for an evening ride this time of year to close ones mouth lest it will be filled with a swarm of flying insects.
While spit. spit. spitting them out, in my minds eye they had all just flown off a large fresh cowpat not 1 minute ago. I think I shall be investing in a thin cotton scarf of some kind.
