Dolan multicross works for me. 250ish Inc fork headset and seatpost.

paul milnes will sell you a great frame and fit bosses for not much money too 🙂

There is a school of thought that suggests bottle bosses on a cross bike is like putting an ashtray in an F1 car...

i just got a very nice kinesis Crosslight, just over the £200 mark but very nicely made and finished, not horrifically expensive if you ask me.
