[Closed] Brompton Owners - rear brake question?

Sigh. I really am getting sad. Now i'm asking brompton questions on here.

Is the rear brake caliper on a new 2010 Brompton just a standard caliper brake? Could it be replaced with a-another long drop road caliper?

No.

it is in a effect a ladies (cable bottom entry) dual pivot...

the issue is the bottom entry..

anyway why do you want to replace it?

As he says, cables go down past the BB, along chainstay then loop up and back at the end for the brake.

They work fine for what they are, tbh.

I still have the non dual pivot on the back of mine.. works fine..

you just need to use decent pads..
