[#1614959]

Bought a set of the above with a slight oil leak.
Replaced the seals and oil no problem.

Being the ham fisted half wit that I am I overtightened one of the bottom nuts and snapped it off!! I should have used a torque wrench I know but its too late now!

Its the left hand side as you look at the forks on the bike from the front.

Am I right in thinking this is the non Talas side and if so where can I get a replacement part?

Any help gratefully received.

What ever you have done these guys will sort it out. It may be expensive though but if you brought them second hand you'll have saved some money.

If you give Mojo a call they should be able to advise you what part you need and supply it. They have always been good for advice when I've called. 01633615815.

Thanks Captain.

I do have a quote however I just want to confirm if if the parts are available to do it myself (poor record so far but I am actually resonably capable!) and if its the expensive side that I have broken. I dont think it is but I just want to be sure.

Spoken to Mojo and the part is circa £70. The quote I have is probably reasonable given the labour involved so I think its just a case of an expensive lesson learned!!!

Many thanks for the advice all!
