Full ish moon, clear night, lots of stars (one shooting!), stags bellowing at each other on the heather in front of us, cracking riding, good company and a nice beer afterwards.

And knowing most people are sat at home staring at the TV. It rocks.
Did 40 miles on the road, half in darkness. Was mostly good apart from one moron who put his lights on full beam as he approached in the opposite direction. Yeah cheers for that.
Saw a couple of lightning flashes in the distance too which was a little disconcerting.
Even the snapped chain at the start and the multiple downpours didn't spoil it.
All my riding atm is in the dark... Had some absolutely great rides with some cracking sights. one of the good ones was riding through a tree tunnel and having a barn owl fly along side me.
Night ridings fast becoming my favourite type of ride. All the trails you think you know really well become totally different and you find new lines you wouldn't have ridden in the day.
all my mates cried off.
was going to veg out in front of the tv.
i still went out and had a brill time in the dark.

That was me last night that was, I was happy enough :p I went out on Weds night though. Big, clear moon to one side of me and lightning to the other. Felt quite surreal.
