...cutting puncture repair patches for my various kits.
I had a pinch flat on my fat bike today and repaired the tube in the sun on the beach ๐
I just don't get how folk can bin a punctured tube then chuck in landfill ๐
Fat bike? WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER NEW STANDARD, FFS!

Oh dear I've hit a nerve ๐
Thanks for the reminder, totally forgot that I flatted last ride and have a tube to fix!
Not at all, Al, just joining in the fun! ๐
FWIW, my routine (On bikes with tubes) is as follows;
First puncture - Replace tube, keep tube in bag.
Second puncture - Park patch on replaced tube (Which is often a repaired tube anyway)
Third (God forbid!) puncture - Park patch again.
Then, repair tubes when I get home.
I gave my one spare fat bike tube to a fat-friend. He hasn't reciprocated yet so I'm riding commando.
Are you using squares of old tube for patches? Thats a damn fine idea if it works, will have to try that!
What are these "tubes" of which you speak?
