I've a road version and it's lovely.

If i were in the market for a custom built hardtail i'd look no further.

Should be good. Did that guy who made his travelled across the world to make his ideal bike for the BBC (I cannot remember the programme's name) had his one made by Brian Rourke? Could still be on iPlayer maybe so you can see a frame and the workplace.

Ride of my Life also available on some of those torrent sites I believe, not really sure how they work though.

Brian Rourke frames must be high up on my list of dream frames.

They are very nice frames - I bloody hope so!! should be getting mine in the next couple of weeks. Note to self to give 'em a call to get a progress report! Certainly the road bikes are very nice indeed, especially the 953's, mine's a 853 hardtail, white with deep metalic red panels & wcs bands, hopefully will be lush.
Karnali - What you gettin? sounds like a road bike??

I've had mine three years now and still can't get over just how good it is. Great people as well, but may take a while to take delivery!
Worth every penny.

Apparently Woodrup is also revamping their steel bicycle line. Could be interesting as well!

Lovely, this is one of mine, i got 2, had it powdercoated and lug lined with retro Super Record on. It's actually British racing green but the pic looks black.

Had mine for 25 years, beautifully made and still goes so well. I can not for the life of me how much I paid for it. Like the look of the HT quite UK made Soul - ish.

mine is 4 year old dedaccai road frame, resprayed and new decals 2 years ago not used since, bought a new easton fork to go with it, i'm hoping that 345 for the the frame and fork turns out to be money well spent. will get full ultegra 6600 group bar a campag chainset, carbon post, arione saddle, and a pair of exro carbon bonded wheels to start ti off, although i'm after a new set of wheels for it, just can't decided what. i'm thinking ultegra or 105 on open pros would go nicely but where to get them from?

I'd love to chop in my carbon frame for a 853/953 Rourke road frame, but it's going to be a LONG time.

Not sure about an MTB frame, but as a bespoke builder you should get what you want.

I'm from Stoke so have a certain Local biase. I must admit though for an MTB frame I think I'd be looking at an 18 Bikes custom steel.

I've only ever seen one, and that was a road bike...and it was lovely!

Also I seem to recall a certain Nicole Cooke riding them for her early career.

Anyone living anywhere near Stoke on Trent should go & have a look, mostly only road bikes in the shop but go & get tempted. IMHO the bikes are gorgeous. Sean Kelly's white 953 was there when I went for a peek - totally top class!! British bikes actually made in Britain!!
