Has anyone ridden along the ridge of Brean Down? It looked like a lot of fun when I walked it today... Nice humps, steep descents, lots of playable bits near the fort...

Sounds a lot better than getting stuck up to the knees on the beach 🙂

Its a footpath across an SSSI so certainly a bit cheeky. Probably best to leave it to walking and take the bike to the Mendips

I've always fancied going from black down, Winscombe drove, crooks peak and then onto and over Brean Down but as above, it's an SSSI and National Trust so a cheeky step too far. Shame really as it looks like a good ride.
