Anyone local know what sort of condition the trails are in? Frozen solid or rapidly defrosting?

Will be my first Gorrick event (if I pull the trigger today or tomorrow) so any idea of what to expect?

Frozen nicely currently. Looking at the conditions and weather forthcoming, I'd expect them to be mostly the same then too.

Looks like milder air coming in so by next weekend it won't be frozen.

Turning milder and a bit wet by the end of the week. I'd think it'll be soft and a bit muddy. I've been away for over a week so no biking, I'll see how I feel when I get out tomorrow before I decide to do this round or not.

Was there yesterday and there were a few muddy puddles but mostly frozen over. Set to change for the weekend and Porridgepot is normally quite a bit muddier than Tunnel Hill

Was there today - trails were pretty good. Only a little rain due so it should be splendid!
