Could it be the return of the elevated chain stay?

It's a Ti frame (as indicated by the attached "tube" at the far side of the pic that is used to introduce an inert gas (N) into the frame tubes whilst being welded.

The shot is taken from "beneath" the chainstays which are the 2 closest tubes, looking up at the 2 seat stays at the sides and the back of the seat tube running up the middle.

or it's a Ti office chair, SS obviously.

Oh lord. It's not got e-stays. No No No.

Though it has got something funny going on just out of shot (at each end, but one more than the other).

e-stays would remove any damage from chainsuck, though!

Surely the light switch soo close to the frame would be annoying (i.e. constantly readjusting the frame?)

speaker2animals - I think that you also have to purge Reynolds 953, but given Brant's working relationship with Lynskey I would imagine that it is a titanium frame.

Brant has also designed a titanium bar, made by Lynskey for Nukeproof.

His USP is going to be similar to Coves approach. His entry level steel hardtail will be covered in Razzle prints, hi Ti frame covered in Mayfair and his ladies specialised frame covered in 'Hello!' magazine..

I just don't the the seemingly elevated position Brant is held in.

From what I can gather he designed a some bike frames for a company, one of which had serious issues regarding chain suck, the finishing was never that good when it came down to paint quality, but they were cheap.

He seemingly left affore mentioned company and from what I gather now designs frames for a hooge internet supplier.

Are elevated cahin stays just a really simple way to avoid chain suck, or are they the be all & end all of rear triangle design now that Brants done them?

The new frames don't have elevated chainstays.

Seeing as I actually said that about 7 posts back, your precis of the rest of my recent career probably carries less weight, but thanks anyhow.
