May be a daft question as mostly I've used a Magura Vyron dropper which I can sit on fully and it just drops.
I'm pretty sure the Bontrager one I could too. But if I'm fully weighted on the Brand X, the lever sort of sticks fractionally. Then if I slightly unweight it, it drops smoothly.
Is that normal with them?

No never had that issue and had a few BX

Yeah mine is using the Bontrager lever, I never noticed it with the full Bontrager setup

Seat post clamp may be a bit too tightt

I have the brand x with the bontrager lever.
Do not have this issue
