Probably been done to death so sorry ,BUT ,My brakes have gone spongy and the bite point has moved to nearer the bars ,i think this is a bleed issue i think ? if so can i do at home ? if not what is it thanks in advance(ive only had the bike 4 months so im learning as i go along )

Bleed almost certainly. Yes you can do it home, get some fluid suitable for your brake manufacturer and google a video.
