Hello all,

Riding to work this morning after lending my bike to a mate and noticed that when braking lightly on the front brake it caused a lot of wobble/vibration, so much that you could see the bottom of the fork moving back and forward.

Since being home I have cleaned brake disc, swapped pads from front to rear and also cleaned and regreased my headset. Seems to of cured it a bit but can still feel the wobble/vibration. Any ideas

Bike is a 2009 lapierre Spicy 316 with Forumla Oro K18 brakes.

Ta in advance

ps:my first post

check the brakes are done up tight, realight them to the rim, rub some dirt into the rotor to take a bit off the pads to smooth them down.

that is me out of suggestions.

ps. congratulations on your first post!

Bearings, worn wheel bearing, but more likely fork bearings/bushings.

Make sure brake caliper bolts are tight. Double check headset (hold front brake on, rock bike fore and aft).

I would expect it to be poor alignment or a loose adaptor / caliper bolt. You'd be unlucky to have got through wheel/headset bearings on a newish bike (unless you ride loads)

Also check your rotor bolts are tight
