I've got Formula RXs. The Formula pads are crap and expensive. The Goodridge pads are good, a bit thick but expensive. I slapped some Goodridge HOPE Tech X2 pads in there 'in-a-pinch' they seem good, cheap and come with a compatible pin & retainer thing, which is pretty cool.
My question? Has anyone else had any accidentally positive experience with other pads for other brakes? Are there any other pads that will fit and are cheap?

i usually just go with superstar pads or disco pads...

Can't remember if RXs use the same pads as Ones etc. If so, then I can recommend Superstar- sintered for gritty mud, kevlar for everything else. Maybe something else for other brakes will fit, but why?
