Hi
Have a pair of Hayes stokers that I want to change the hydraulic hose routing on.
Currently they terminate in the lever with an olive and compression nut, I would like to change this to a 90deg banjo fitting, however the fittings I have are a smaller diameter bolt.
Anyone done this? Or have suggestions how to achieve this.
It's for a DIY hydraulic to cable drop bar brake
If you switch to Goodridge hose, you can often get fittings that will fit most brakes in both banjo and inline types.
Cheers, I've got some hope/ Goodrich banjos but the hollow bolt is too small a diameter to fit the same bit as the compression nut. Think I need roughly a 8mm banjo fitting.
pretty such you can get the goodridge stuff in 6mm and 8mm banjos
