[list]I hunted high and low for a large enough syringe to bleed my brakes,when i got my XT brakes over a year ago..There was no way i was going to pay the £50-60 for a shimano brake bleed kit.
I ended up buying a feeding syring from pets at home.
It wasn't very good as when pushing the plunger it took a great deal of force, basically a crap syringe.
A quick google and i got some results but quite expensive.
Then i found this bargain..went a picked one up after work tonight and bleed both my brakes..works a treat.

So if your looking for a cheap syringe to bleed your brakes, hopefully this will fit the bill..

Ring your local hospital. Choose a ward. Ask to speak to the sister in charge. Tell her that you need a 50 ml syringe to bleed your brakes. Tell her that you will swap a packet of Cadburys Chocolate fingers for a syringe.
Job done.
...choose an Intensive Care Unit and you'll get the tubing too!
