Im just speccing some new brakes for my Heckler! Are the braided hoses really worth it or is it just bling? I wouldn't get them just for bling, has to be a signifacant performance benefit - with the M4s being good anyway. Of the bikes i have seen with braided hoses I always think they dont look as neat as standard hoses?

I run braided hose on all my bikes, but my main reason for doing so is that they are almost impossible to kink or split under normal conditions
