Did the swinley area get soaked this week? How are the trails running?

Cheers

I was over there this afternoon. There was a fair bit of rain this morning, but as the trails were very dry it hasn't turned into a bog just yet, and is still riding fast - just lots of gritty puddles, I managed to kill a newish set of brake pads during the ride...

I should be riding there in the morning, and hopefully it will be a bit dryer than it was today.

solamanda - only today has it been wet. Don't panic - you'll still be able to do your downhilly thing ๐Ÿ˜‰

"The Stickler" will be too tame for you!

Deer Stalker was very loose in places - a touch of speedway stylee.

yep has been very dry recently - was out last night and buried myself in a nice dry dusty loam berm too! Good soft landings to be had!

Thanks.

Elaine, I have a new xc bike to test out and it would be rude to actually get it dirty ;o)

David - I'll do it for you ๐Ÿ˜‰

So what have you got? Is it as colourful as the other one?

Still looks a mean bike though! Am sure Swinley will be fine for you although the Deer Stalker/Baby Maker are incredibly popular.

I'm riding tomorrow but not there. I'm inflicting myself on some other non-STW peeps ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Have a great day!

Obviously the 'made' trails are fine; the other ones are starting to cut up somewhat. They're not as bad as they have been this winter, but expect grit to get EVERYwhere...
