Boring I know, but I am swapping over a frame and the source frame is a 68mm BB and the External BB uses a spacer on the drive side. The target frame is a 73mm BB. Do I need to transfer the spacer?

Usual way, with a 68 shell is two spacers on drive side and one on non-drive. Using the same bb/crankset on a 73mm shell frame, you need to remove 5mm of spacers. that should mean removing two, one from each side. Leaving one on the drive side. Make sense? 😕
