[Closed] Bottom Bracket Tool

Park BB9T, BB19T or similar, pretty sure it's the same fitting for Sram GXP if that's what you've got.

I've used the same tool on both Hope and SRAM/Truvativ BBs.
I wouldn't attempt it without the proper tool. It's only a thin bit of aluminium. Stillsons or mole grips would almost certainly crush it out of shape.

Your SRAM BB tool will work fine, you can get external BB tools for £8 given the price of Hope BB that's cheap. I'd not risk using anything but a proper tool or you can up breaking your BB cup.

Truvativ, Shimano, Race Face, Hope, Superstar, etc. external bearings all use the same interface (and thus the same tool).

Not all SRAM/Truvativ cranks are external though so no guarantee that the SRAM tool mentioned is compatible with Hope unless it's a SRAM tool for an external BB.

If you find you need a new one, the Superstar one is spot on btw.
