[Closed] Bottom Bracket and Brakes

Hi all,

I think my bottom bracket is on its way out as it started making noises a whilie back and I have noticed a lot a lateral play in it.
I was wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the Shimano ES51 and the ES71 I have googled it to death and all I have found is that the ES71 is hard to get hold of.

Also Im need of a new set of brakes and would like to spend less than £150.

Had a look around and think my options are Juicy 5s or Hayes Stroker Trails, what are peoples thoughts or have any other suggestions.
