the rubber boot on my gd keeps on coming out of the top location, anyone got any bright ideas on how to prevent this, cant really tie rap as the recess is too small..... anyone ran gd without the boot? mine stopped workin the other day when crap got in it but not sure if this was due to dirt build up in the boot.

It might just be a bit worn/out of shape, how old is it? Also, do you leave the seat up or down?

They go bad after a bit and the water and mud ruin them. I ran mine without for a bit but crc have the rubber boots for 11 pounds posted. And all the other bits to rebuild it completely
