Got a 1990/91 Bonty off road frame which I've had from new! Twenty years!
She (?!!) had a respray in 2005 by Chas Roberts in black and Paul Sadoff very kindly supplied me with some original 1990 OR decals.
At the time of the respray at Chas Roberts, I had some disk mounts welded on. Really professional job, but regretted it soon after. It sure looks purdy though, was red, now black.
Not been ridden since 2006, and have meant to build up into über cool
S/S commuter, but never got round to it..
Any of you guys have a rough idea of what I'd get for it??
go to retro bike if you want a better idea.
I'm sure I typed I'm off to check at retro bike too. Obviously not! Bit scared of lurking there though, the idea is to get rid of stuff, not get nostalgic and start buying stuff!!
i sold mine last year, sounds much like yours (but no disc tabs and rc30's sprayed to match)
sold it on retrobike, had three offers almost immediately, the chap who bought it drove over from France to pick it up! (the other two offers were from Sweden and the states!)
i got more for it than i paid (20 years before), i think that's a value buy ;o)
