My local Halfords has not get them in yet, so considering buying one online.
With this in mind, I am wondering what size I would be looking needing being a dwarf like 5'7" with 31" inside leg.
Never had a road/cx bike before so not really sure of what rough size I should even be looking at.
So people, how talls are ye and what size you riding?
Road bikes and cx bikes are different things.
I'm a little taller than you and ride 56.5 TT road bike and 55 TT cx bikes.

Ah. So CX bikes will have a shorter TT. Cheers for clearing that up.
I can offer some advice on boardman road bike sizing. I'm 5'8" and had a medium sized team carbon for a while. It was too big (far too long in the top tube), so replaced it with a small and it's perfect. I've found the same thing with the boardman mtb, went for a small after trying a medium.
In summary, for your height I'd go for a small.

Cheers bigG. I said as much to the guy in Halfords, that I would be after a small, and he was like "nah mate, you want a medium".....*sigh*
I'm 5'7". I ride 52, but that's because my legs are relatively short/my body relatively long for my (lack of) height. I prefer a 54 TT.
Having skimmed the specs, I'd say a small with the 54TT would work well.
Oh, and I'm considering one of those bikes for cross next season. Look forward to reports...!
Jamie, if you're in central scotland and you want to sling your leg over one give me a shout
I'm 5'7" and i had to sell my small Boardman Team Road because it was too long in the toptube.
(54cmm TT is a medium by anyone else's standards.)
