I went to a skatepark last night and had a great time jumping into the foam pit and riding the park. Unfortunately I have now come to the conclusion that I would like a bmx. I haven't ridden one since about 92 and am not really clued up on them.

I'm after something cheap (£150-200) second hand. What kind of things should I be looking for in terms of build and what size would be best?

Buy mine off me if you like. Fly Pantera with a 21.4" TT. I'm 6'2" and it felt alrite to me.

Sounds good. I am a cheapskate though, not looking to spend over £200.

Anyone know of brands that do bmx's for lanky gits? 21.5 top tube is what I think would fit.

I'd sell it for £200 if you could collect it! I'm not going to post it though.

Yes, I live in Cumbria. I dont think I'd post it as I cant be arsed with the hassle, I'm not really fussed about selling it either. Just thought it would be nice to pass it on to another forum user who might get more use out of it than me!

Come on Taylforth, help a fellow out. Besides you can put the money toward your new tourer 😉

I'll chuck in an xtr rr rear mech to sweeten the deal.

If I found some motivation and a bike box I' probably get round to doing it.

The new tourer is done!Just been out on it, it absolutely flies (lack of a head wind and a decent dinner probably had something to do with that though)

Good man. I'm considering getting a road bike in the new year, as my hack bike is not much of a mile cruncher.
