Hi there all. I have a Santa Cruz Blur LT Carbon which I love but for the last month it was just hanging in the garage due to a broken bottom link. Went through all the major stores ( Stif; Jungle products; Peaslake ) and can not track one down. They are waiting for some to come in from America but its already over two weeks on due date given to me before. Anyone else know where I might turn to. One other thing that was really dissapointing to hear in my search was that Santa Cruz is no longer making the top links. I don't know the reason on this but it's sound a bit od that they will make bikes to last a while and then stop making parts for it. I will reconsider buying something from Santa Cruz again if this sort of thing will happen.

Cheers

'Stopped making' probably isn't the right word. Theres not production lines running all day churning out legacy suspension components. The manufacturer will have made a whole bunch of them (or had them made by a subcontractor) at the time the bikes were manufactured. Enough to make the bikes plus some spares - its a guess as to how many spares is enough though, and while you don't want to run out you don't want to pay for and store thousands more than will ever be needed either as all they are is expensive scrap.

So they'll have run out rather than stopped.

Thanka that I know, but I was just using words that I got from the main importer of Santa Cruz products after they spoke to US supplier. So if its not the case then great. I will just have to wait it out and see what happens?!
