As the title says really. Looking for a bike that will manage a poorly skilled fat bloke steel hardtail and these keep coming up.
Has any one ridden one/both. Good?
Thanks for any input,
Dave
ridden the blue pig and I have a 456 summer season, very similar bikes but obviously I prefer my 456 and its cheaper.
also raw with orange graphics on the 456 is amazing
There lots of threads like this one - try doing some searches for the above two plus Cotic Soul / BFe, Prince Albert etc ...
FWIW I was looking for a steel hard tail and began with Pig/Piglet (as they are carried by my LBS) and settled on a BFe and I have a Prince Albert Classic frame coming later in the summer and I'll make a comparison. Very happy with BFe which has seen me do my longest rides (50k, XC and SH trails) plus 3 days in Peak District on some of the classic routes.
